Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Detailer specializing in Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) panels to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise, detailed drawings that translate architectural concepts for us in installation and fabrication
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings for Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) wall systems for customer review and approval.
- Create accurate fabrication drawings to support production and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with the detailing team under the direction of the in-house department lead.
- Communicate directly with customers to obtain field measurement information and clarify project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings are accurate, complete, and comply with project specifications and ACM system requirements.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word in the preparation of project documentation.
- Coordinate with production and project teams to support successful project execution.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout the drafting process.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience using AutoCAD in a professional drafting environment.
- Proven experience detailing Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) wall systems is required.
- Strong understanding of ACM systems, fabrication methods, and installation practices.
- Experience creating shop drawings and fabrication drawings for architectural cladding projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Experience with Revit is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication and professional phone etiquette, with the ability to interact directly with customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an in-house team environment and follow direction from department leadership.
